Specialized Services
Every client is different. I work to create a specialized therapeutic approach to meet the unique needs of each client I work with. This process is a collaborative partnership between client and therapist.
Person Centered

Person Centered therapy is a humanistic approach to psychotherapy that emphasizes the client's capacity for self-healing and personal growth.
Key Principals
-
Unconditional Positive Regard: The therapist accepts and supports the client no matter what they say or do. This nonjudgmental acceptance helps clients feel safe to explore their thoughts and feelings.
-
Empathy: The therapist deeply understands the client's experience from their perspective, conveying this understanding without judgment.
-
Congruence (Genuineness): The therapist is real and transparent with the client—not putting on a professional facade. This authenticity encourages clients to also be open and real.
-
Self-Actualization: Therapy is meant to remove obstacles so clients can move toward their fullest potential.
EMDR Therapy

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a research-supported psychotherapy approach designed to help people process and heal from distressing life experiences or move through stuck points. Unlike traditional talk therapy, EMDR uses guided eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation to help the brain reprocess traumatic memories, reducing their emotional intensity and allowing for more adaptive responses. It’s commonly used to treat PTSD, anxiety, and other trauma-related conditions, often bringing relief in fewer sessions than other methods.
Mindfulness

Mindfulness is the practice of bringing your full attention to the present moment with openness and without judgment. It helps individuals become more aware of their thoughts, feelings, and bodily sensations, creating space for healthier responses rather than automatic reactions. Mindfulness can reduce stress, improve focus, and support emotional well-being, making it a valuable tool for everyday life as well as therapeutic work.
Synergetic Play Therapy

Synergetic Play Therapy (SPT) is a cutting-edge, research-informed model of play therapy that blends neuroscience, attachment theory, and mindfulness. SPT helps children process challenging emotions and experiences by supporting both the child and therapist in staying regulated and connected. Through play—children’s natural language—SPT fosters emotional growth, resilience, and healing by addressing the underlying nervous system patterns driving behavior, rather than just the behavior itself.
